Using Classics

By using the Classics app or website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The content

Classics offers public-domain works. Copyright status is checked per country before a title is published, and a work may not be available everywhere.

The narration is generated by an AI voice, not read by a human actor. We narrate the complete text of each work. Pronunciation and delivery may occasionally be imperfect; tell us if you notice a problem.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details safe. You must give accurate information and be old enough to enter into this agreement where you live.

Subscriptions and purchases

Paid features are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow the rules of the store you bought from, and you can manage or cancel a subscription in your store account settings.

Free listening is limited as shown in the app, and we may change what is free or paid over time.

Acceptable use

Do not copy, redistribute or resell the audio or text outside the app's features, do not try to bypass access controls or downloads limits, and do not interfere with the service or other users. Downloaded audio is for your own offline listening.

Ending your use

You can stop using Classics and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the service.

No warranty and limits of liability

Classics is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and we do not promise that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use Classics after an update means you accept the new terms. We will update the date above.
